The Dhaka University authorities have postponed the result of its ‘A’ unit (Faculty of Science) entrance test for the 2019-20 academic session over the allegations of anomalies in question paper evaluation.
The decision was taken after the authorities reviewed the result and found anomalies in the third set of the question paper on Sunday (Oct 20) following the allegations by the test takers, Dean of Science faculty Prof Tofail Ahmed told Bangla Tribune.
Earlier in the day, the admission test for the 'A' unit took place.
DU Vice-Chancellor Akhtaruzzaman announced the result in the afternoon with 13.05 percent passing the test.
Asked on the time of republishing the result, Prof Ahmed couldn’t say any specific date.
“However, it may take three to seven days [to republish the result],” he added.
