Dhaka metro police reshuffles OCs

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred seven of its OCs including three against whom there are allegations of being involved in the casino scandal.
Four OCs have also been reshuffled within Dhaka, according to an order by DMP Commissioner Shafiqul Islam on Tuesday (Oct 1).
Bhatara police OC Abu Bakkar has been transferred to Paltan police, Kalabagan police OC Yasin Arafat to Motijheel police, Khilkhet police OC Mostafizur Rahman to Mirpur Model police and Shyampur police OC Mizanur Rahman has been transferred to Kotoali police.
Meanwhile, four DMP inspectors have been promoted to the rank of OC.
Uttara East Zone Police Inspector Paritash Chandra has been transferred to Kalabagan police station as the OC, Airport police Inspector Mokhtaruzzaman to Bhatara police, Shobujbag police Inspector Mofizul Alam to Shyampur and Banai police Inspector Md Borhan Uddin has been transferred as the OC of Khilkhet police station.
Motijheel OC Omar Faruq has been transferred to the DB Uttara zone, Mirpur Model police OC Dadon Fakir to the south zone and Kotoali police OC Sayedur Rahman has been transferred to the DB west zone over allegations of casino involvements and other complaints.
