Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday (Sept 10) said light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind many occur at places over the country as of 9 am Wednesday (Sept 11).

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions, at many places over Dhaka and Khulna divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country”, said a BMD weather bulletin issued on Tuesday.

“Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay”, it added.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, the release added.
