A microbus has caught fire on Dhaka's Manik Mia Avenue.
The fire originated in the moving vehicle (Dhaka Metro-Gha 11-4325) around 4pm due to a technical glitch, station manager of Mohammadpur fire service Raihanul Ashraf told Bangla Tribune.
Engine overheat might cause the fire, he added.
No causality reported as both passengers of the vehicle including its owner managed to escape the fire.
On information, firefighters from the nearby station rushed to spot and extinguished the fire.
The fire caused slight damage to the engine, said Ashraf adding the vehicle has been removed from the road.
