Rain accompanied by temporary squally wind may occur in many parts of the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am Thursday (May 30).
“Rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Chattogram and Barisal divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Wednesday (May 29) morning.
However, the ongoing mild heat wave sweeping over Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Madaripur, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Rajshahi and Pabna may continue, the bulletin said.
The Met office predicted that day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
