The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained three members of a human trafficking ring in Dhaka.
The arrests were made late on Thursday (May 16) during raids at different areas in the capital, said RAB.
The arrestees are the members of the human trafficking ring involved in the boat capsize incident in the Mediterranean on May 10 in many Bangladeshis feared dead, said RAB media wing spokesperson Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan.
Details will be provided in a media call on Friday (May 17), added the elite force official.
