The Appellate Division has cleared the way to continue trial against senior BNP leader Moudud Ahmed on charges of corruption.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case in September 2007 against the former law minister for amassing illegal wealth worth Tk 73.8 million and concealing information about his wealth worth Tk 44 million.
On Tuesday (May 14), the full appeals bench led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain upheld a previous order by High Court order on Apr 8.
