Police have recovered three bodies - a woman, her son and daughter - from a house in Dhaka's Uttarkhan area.
The bodies were recovered from a one-storey building in Uttarkhan's Moynartek area around 9:30pm on Sunday.
The deceased have been identifed as Jahanara Khatun Mukta, 50, her son Muhib Hasan, 27 and daughter Tasnia Sultana Mim, 20.
Uttarkhan police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Helaluddin said: "Upon receiving information, we broke down the door and found the bodies lying on the floor."
"Judging from the decomposed condition of the bodies, the deaths occurred approximately two days ago. The door was locked from inside."
The police official said the family rented the place from May 7.
We suspect the deaths could be suicides since the door was locked from the inside, he added.
