A court in Dhaka has ordered a report on the investigation into the death of former Eden Mohila College principal Mahfuza Chowdhury Parveen be presented on Jun 13.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Saiduzzaman Sharif granted more time for submission of the report on Tuesday (May 7) as police failed to do so, court official Mazibur Rahman told Bangla Tribune.
On Feb 10, police recovered the body of Mahfuza Chowdhury Parvin from her apartment at Sukanya Tower on Elephant Road in Dhaka.
On the next day, deceased’s husband Ismat Kadir Gama filed the case with New Market Police Station over the murder against three, their domestic helps Swapna, Reshma and the lady who brought the duo to the home.
The three have already been arrested while Reshma and Swapna confessed killing the former principal of Eden Mohila College.
