HSC tests scheduled for Apr 22 deferred

FILE PHOTOThe tests for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams set for Apr 22 has been rescheduled as the official holiday for Shab-e-Barat falls the same day.
The exams were scheduled considering the holiday to be on Apr 21, however, the National Moon-Sighting Committee on Apr 6 announced that it will be celebrated on night of Apr 21, which means the next day (Apr 22) is an official holiday.
The tests for Physics second paper, Accounting second paper, Management second paper and Logic second paper will take place on May 12, said Dhaka Education Board Chairman Ziaul Haque, who also serves as the head of the inter-board coordination committee.
He said that some other changes have been brought to the scheduled.
The Apr 17 tests of Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali will now take place at 2pm on May 9.
The tests for second papers of the Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali have been shifted to May 11. The tests have been scheduled at 2pm that day.
Home Science first paper test for 4 May will take place at 2pm, instead of 10am.
The May 6 test for Science second paper will take place at 2pm.
