Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over the country in next 24 hours commencing at 9am Friday (Apr 5), reports state news agency BSS.
“Rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, are likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Barishal and Khulna divisions with hails at isolated places during the period,” said a Met office bulletin Friday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 34 degrees Celsius in Jashore and Chuadanga, and Friday’s minimum temperature was 18 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
