Three women, including two siblings, died after consuming excessive liquor in Munshiganj.
The deceased have been identified as Chameli, 35, her sister Caina, 25 and Joshna, 45. All of them used to work at ‘Khan Shipyard’ as cleaner and lived inside the shipyard.
Chameli and Caina died on Saturday (Feb 9) morning while Joshna at 12pm in the day while being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), DMCH police camp Inspector Md Baccu Mia told Bangla Tribune.
“The bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy,” added Baccu Mia.
Abdul Malek, a neighbour of the deceased, said that the three fell sick after taking excessive liquor at their house. They were admitted to DMCH and Chameli and Caina died in the morning and Joshna on Saturday noon.
