Three people, including a broker, were arrested for smuggling a Rohingya woman to Malaysia. Airport Armed Police detained them while passing on Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday. A broker was trying to smuggle the woman to Malaysia saying his wife. Airport Armed Police ASP Tariq Ahmed Us Sadak confirmed the news to the Bangla Tribune.
ASP Tariq Ahmed told the Bangla Tribune, ‘They were arrested around 11 pm on the eve of going to Malaysia. Abdur Rahim and Amir Hossain are the arrested brokers.
The woman has been handed a passport from Jessore with a fake address, said Airport Armed Police. Besides, a Myanmar passport has been found from the broker but the owner of the passport is not found.

Legal action will be taken after an interrogation, police said.
