Police have recovered the bodies of two children from a home at the capital’s Demra area.
Bodies of the children, both girls, were recovered around 9:45pm Monday (Jan 7), said Konapara police post Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Abu Hayat.
The children, identified as Nusrat, 4, Faria Akter Dola, 7, had been missing since Monday afternoon, he added.
“They went to play together in the morning and went missing,” said Hayat before adding, “Injury marks were found on the bodies.”
The bodies were found at a room in the ground floor of the 7 storied building named Nasim Villa.
ASI Hayat also said that 7-year-old Dola was found naked and both the bodies were left under the bed.
The owner of the house has gone into hiding, he added.
