The Facebook page of daily Samakal has been hacked, the Bangla newspaper said on Thursday (Dec 20).
The Bangla national said on a webpost that “misleading contents” are being shared from its verified page ((https://www.facebook.com/TheDailySamakal/) since the morning.
“We are yet to recover the Facebook page. The contents now being shared from the page is not ours,” Goutam Mondol, the news editor for Samakal online, told Bangla Tribune.
Unauthorized use of news, image, information, etc published by Bangla Tribune is punishable by copyright law. Appropriate legal steps will be taken by the management against any person or body that infringes those laws.
