A man, who sustained burn injuries in a gas pipeline blast in the capital’s Mohammadpur, has died.
Thirty-five-year-old Billal Hossain succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burn unit around 11:30am on Sunday (Nov 25), DMCH police outpost Assistant SI Abdul Khan told Bangla Tribune.
On Nov 22, six people including Hossain sustained burn injuries in a blast at the city’s Mohammadia Housing area.
The blast happened due to a leakage in the gas pipeline at the building.
The other injured -- Naima Haque, 46, Naim, 7, Munaem, 28, Hosne Ara, 53, and Laili, 35, underwent treatment at the hospital.
