The government has promoted 633 lecturers of public colleges as assistant professors.

Secondary and Higher Education wing of the Education Ministry has issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday (Oct 31).

The circular, signed by Deputy Secretary Abu Kaisar Khan, said, the promoted teachers will carry on their duties as special acting officials of the ministry in their old posts until further notice.
