JAGPA chief Rehana Pradhan dies Rehana Pradhan, president of Jatiya Gonotantrik Party (JAGPA), has died at a  hospital in Dhaka on Sunday (Oct 22). She was 63.
Rehana breathed her last at Care Hospital in the capital’s Mohammadpur at 7:30 am, JAGPA General Secretary Khandakar Lutfur Rahman told Bangla Tribune.
The JAGPA chief had been long been suffering from diabetes and other diseases.
On Sunday, she fell ill and was taken to the hospital where she passed away, said Rahman.
Rehena, who had been holding the party’s helm since her husband Shafiul Alam Pradhan died in March 2017 left behind a son and a daughter.


Jatiya Gonotantrik Party is an ally of the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
