US Bangla Airlines has opened an inquiry over the emergency landing of one of its aircraft at the Chattogram airport.
A four-member committee has been formed to probe the incident.
“The chief of Aircraft Accident Investigation Group, Captain Salahuddin M Rahmatullah will be leading the investigation” said Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh spokesperson Rezaul Karim.
Earlier on Wednesday a Cox’s Bazar bound US Bangla flight BS 143 made an emergency landing at Chattogram due to gear failure.
US Bangla has cancelled all subsequent flights following the accident.
