FOCUS BANGLA/file photoThe court will give an order on Wednesday (Sept 26), about the two defendants of the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case, who moved 'no-confidence' motions against the presiding judge.

The order on the prosecution's petition seeking to finalise the verdict day will also be made.
These orders were made by the court of Dhaka Special Judge-5 Akhtaruzzaman, set up within the old Dhaka Central Jail premises.
Counsels of defendants, Ziaul Islam Munna and Monirul Islam Khan moved the no-confidence motions against the judge on Monday.
An appeal underlining a ‘fear of not getting justice’ will also be made to the High Court, requesting a change of the current judge.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lodged a case at Tejgaon police on Aug 8, 2010, against BNP chairperson and three others for embezzling Tk 31.54 million from the Zia Charitable Trust.
The others accused in the case are former political secretary to the PM Hares Chowdhury, his personal secretary Ziaul Islam Munna and former Dhaka mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka’s personal secretary Monirul Islam Khan.
Hares Chowdhury is a fugitive. On Feb 8 this year, the same court sentenced Khaleda Zia to five years imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case. The BNP chief has been serving her sentence at old jailhouse on Nazimudddin Road since then.
