Anti-Corruption Commission, ACC, has summoned 12 directors of AB Bank, including former chairman, M Wahidul Huq, in the investigation of the embezzlement of Tk. 383 crore 22 lakh 10 thousand 263 from AB Bank’s Mohakhali branch.
ACC sources say that apart from M Wahidul Huq, former and current directors, MA Awal and Md Feroz Ahmed have been called on Oct 1, while other top level current and former officials, Shishir Ranjan Bose, Syed Afzal Hassan Uddin, Mishal Kabir, Fahimul Huq were summoned on Oct 2.
Others have been called on Oct 3.
ACC’s deputy director, Md Shamsul Alam, lodged a case on Jun 28 at Banani thana over the misappropriation of a huge amount of money.
The case accuses former minister Morshed Khan and fifteen others.
