A total of 18,860 candidates have been cleared for the written test for the senior officer (general) post at eight banks and financial institutions.

The candidates will have to sit for a two-hour written test on Sept 22 to vie for 1,663 posts.

The test will be held between 3am and 5am at eight centres across Dhaka.

This was revealed after the result of the MCQ test for senior officer post was published at the Bangladesh Bank’s website on Monday (Sept 10).

On Jan 12, the MCQ test for the senior officer post was held, which was cancelled amid the allegation over irregularities by the candidates.

Later, the rescheduled test was held on Aug 31.
