No incident of question paper leak was reported on the second day (April 3) of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams.
"We are yet to receive any report of question paper leak," Dhaka Education Board Exam Controller Tapan Kumar Sarker told the Bangla Tribune.
Social media especially Facebook was flooded with question paper of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams in February.
The same thing happened last year when the fifth and eighth graders sat for the public exams.
Similar attempts were found on the second day of HSC exams on social media sites, including Facebook and WhatsApp, but none of the purported questions appeared on these sites matched with the actual question paper for Tuesday’s test.
The Education Ministry sources said they have taken strong precautionary measures which works effectively.
The ministry sealed the envelopes containing the question papers with the security tape while the examinees are ordered to enter into the exam hall 30 minutes before the exam starts, said a ministry official.
He said the ministry also sends instruction to open the sealed envelops 25 minutes before the exam starts.
More than 1.3 million students are taking part in the exams at 2,541 centres in Bangladesh and abroad.
The theoretical exams are scheduled to end on May 13 while the practical exams will be held between May 14 and 23.
