The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned former minister and senior BNP leader Amir Khoshru Mahmud Chowdhury on charges of illicit wealth and money laundering.
He has been told to appear before the ACC investigators on Aug 28 in a notice served on Thursday, said ACC spokesperson Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
Sources at the graft watchdog say, he allegedly siphoned off millions out of the country and acquired illicit wealth.
