After his meeting with principal of schools and colleges in Dhaka, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid is now set to meet the vice-chancellors of private universities.
The ‘views-exchange meeting’ is scheduled for 3 pm on Wednesday at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital.
The meeting comes after students of several private universities clashed with police on Monday at the city’s Bashundhara Residential Area, Rampura and Tejagon.
On Sunday, Nahid held separate meetings with the principals of schools and colleges in Dhaka, when he instructed them to convince students to leave the streets.
