Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, MP attended the 25th ASEAN Regional Forum’s (ARF) Foreign Ministerial Meeting at Singapore Expo Convention Center in Singapore on Saturday.
The minister discussed the Rohingya repatriation process to draw more international attention to this regard.

Foreign Ministers from 27 countries and representatives from EU gathered there to discuss various regional and international issues.
Mahmood Ali met EU High-level Representative Fedrica Mogherini to talk on the ongoing process of arrangement of repatriation of the forcibly displaced Rohingyas from Bangladesh to Myanmar.
He also told about his likely trip to Myanmar between 9 to 12 this month to inspect the preparation of Myanmar for receiving Rohingyas, the press note said.
Ms Mogherini assured Bangladesh Foreign Minister about EU’s readiness to assist both Bangladesh and Myanmar for successful and dignified repatriation.
Most of the countries in their statements highly praised Bangladesh for giving shelter to more than one million Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals, read the press note.
