Foreigners' entry banned through land ports

The home ministry's Public Security division on Sunday issued the order saying the move has come into effect from Mar 22.
The ministry's Additional Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique told Bangla Tribune that the restriction came in line with a decision by the foreign ministry.
The ban will remain imposed till further notice at the land ports of Benapole in Jashore, Bhomra in Satkhira, Burimari in Lalmonirhat, Akhaura in Brahmanbaria, Nakugaon in Sherpur, Tamabil in Sylhet, Hili in Dinajpur, Banglaband in Panchagar, Darshana in Chuadanga, Sheola in Sylhet and Rowmari.
