For the first time, Pohela Falgun and Valentine’s Day fell on the same day and citizens of Dhaka celebrated both occasions with pomp and splendour.
The Ekhushey Book Fair was a colourful affair on Friday (Feb 14). The month-long fair was teeming with children and youngsters in a myriad of spring colours.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka University premises were also vibrant with the cultural programs organised by the Faculty of Fine Arts where the youths welcomed spring with dance, music and colours.
