The number of voters will stand at 109,606,187 once the updated electoral roll is finalised.
Of them, 55,325,292 are men, 54,280,542 women and 353 transgender, according to a draft voter list revealed by the Election Commission.
EC Additional Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman unveiled the draft list to the media at its Dhaka offices on Monday (Jan 20).
According to the draft, as many as 6,758,341 fresh voters -- 3,582,163 men and 3,175,825 women -- have been enrolled in the draft list, while 1,392,236 voters who died by the time have been deleted from the list.
Nearly 5.37 million voters were included after the 2018 general election.
The EC has identified 207,635 dual voters and deleted them during the updating.
The final electoral roll will be published on Mar 2 after the complete verification process.
