State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam will skip the Raisina Dialogue 2020 in India to accompany Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to her upcoming Abu Dhabi visit.
Shahriar was invited to the annual multilateral conference in New Delhi slated for Jan 14-16.
“The state minister has been invited to Raisina Dialogue,” said a foreign ministry official.
Observer Research Foundation, the organiser of the event, has been informed about the cancellation of his participation, he added.
PM Hasina will fly to Abu Dhabi on Sunday (Jan 12) for a conference with the Bangladeshi envoys to Middle Eastern countries.
