Former senior secretary Fayez Ahmed and former additional inspector general of police Binoy Krishna Bala have been appointed as the members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the next five years.
The Public Administration Ministry issued two separate circulars on Tuesday (Dec 31) and Wednesday (Jan 1) in the regard.
According to the circulars, the appointment of Fayez would come into effect on Jan 4 while Binoy's on Jan 1.
Their post-retirement leave (PRL) has been cancelled and they would sever ties with other organisations to hold the new office, it added.
