The government has promoted Prime Minister’s Personal Secretary-I Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah to the rank of secretary and appointed him as the secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
A circular was issued by the Public Administration Ministry on Wednesday (Jan 1),
It said the appointment of Tofazzel, who succeeds senior secretary Sajjadul Hasan, will be effective soon.
In a separate circular, the government also extended for one year service of the senior secretary of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Md Mohibul Haque,
It said the appointed would be effective from Jan 6.
The post-retirement leave (PRL) of Mohibul has been cancelled with the new appointment, the circular added.
He was due to retire on Jan 5.
