The results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) Examinations-2019 have been published on Tuesday (Dec 31) with 87.9 percent pass rate.

Education Minister Dipu Moni has announced the result of this year’s JSC and JDC examinations at the ministry on Tuesday (Dec 31).

“As many as 78,429 students have acquired GPA-5 this year. A total of 5,243 institutions possess all successful students while 33 have no passed student,” said the education minister.

"Students can collect JSC and JDC results from their institutions and online portal from 12pm onwards," said Inter-Board Coordination Sub-Committee chief Muhammad Ziaul Haque.

The education minister handed over the JSC and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exam results, while State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossen handed over the PEC and Ebtedayee exam results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a ceremony held at the PM’s official Ganabhaban residence in Dhaka.

Among 2,602,053 examinees this year, 2,297,271 eighth graders have passed in JSC and its equivalent examinations. The percentage of successful students in the previous year's examinations was 85.83, which has been increased by 2.07 this year.

The JSC and JDC students will be able to check their results on the website of the corresponding education boards and browsing on this link from mobile -- www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
The results will be also found on the result corner page of www.educationboard.gov.bd.
To get the result through SMS, a JSC student will have to type ‘JSC(first three letters of respective board)(examination roll)(year)’ and send text message to 16222.
The JDC students will have to replace ‘JSC’ with ‘JDC’ and use 'MAD' as three letters of the board.
