17% Bangladeshi adults suffer from mental health issues: Study

The findings of the report based on the survey 'National Mental Health Survey, Bangladesh 2018-19' were unveiled at the Krishibid Institute on Thursday (Nov 7). Nearly 17% of adults in Bangladesh are suffering from mental health issues, says a study.
The findings of the report based on the survey "National Mental Health Survey, Bangladesh 2018-19" were unveiled at the Krishibid Institute on Thursday (Nov 7).
National Mental Health Institute organized the program, with Health Minister Zahid Maleque as the chief guest.
According to the survey, 14% of children aged between seven to 17 years suffer from mental health issues, 95% of who do not seek medical attention.
