The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the results of the preliminary examination of the 40th edition of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).
A total of 20,277 job-seekers have qualified for written tests, BPSC Chairman Mohammad Sadiq said on Thursday (Jul 25).
The results are available on the commission’s website – www.bpsc.gov.bd.
The candidates can get the results by typing ‘BCS<space>40<space>registration number’ and send an SMS to 16222.
A total of 334,038 candidates took the preliminary examination held on May 3 at centres in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh.
In September 2018, the BPSC published the circular for the 40th BCS for appointments to 1,903 first-class government jobs, including 200 cadres in administration, 72 in police and 465 ordinary cadres.
