Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stressed the need for strengthening the waterway connectivity between India and Bangladesh aimed at promoting trade and commerce.
She came up with the opinion when Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das paid a courtesy call on her at the latter’s official residence Ganobhaban in the capital on Monday (Jul 15), state-news agency BSS reports.
After the call on, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the media.
They discussed various bilateral issues of common interest of the countries.
PM’s Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman was present during the call on.
