Lee pays tributes to Bangabandhu

South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon. ReutersSouth Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before wrapping up his three-day official visit to Bangladesh.

The Korean premier paid the homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on Road-32 at Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Monday (Jul 15), reports BSS. Chairperson of National Advisory Council on Neurodevelopment Disorder and Autism Saima Wazed Hossain, received Lee on the museum premises.

The Korean premier was briefed about the history of the Father of the Nation and given the tour of the museum by Saima, the granddaughter of Bangabandhu.

Later, Lee signed the visitors’ book where member secretary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Memorial Trust, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman was also present.
