The government is forming a probe body to look into the allegations of GPA-5 scams, says Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Monday.
He disclosed the information on Monday while attending a programme at the Secretariat organised on occasion of handing over the keys of two micro-buses, donated by FBCCI, to Prime Minister’s Education Fund.
He said, “I have instructed to form a probe committee to investigate the matter.”
Earlier on June 10, Dhaka Education Board formed a three-member committee headed by DEB’s Directorate of Inspection and Audit Manager Ahmed Sajjad Rashid.
Private TV channel Maasranga recently aired an investigative report alleging that GPA-5 certificates were available in exchange of money.
