The wait of more than two million students, who took this year’s school-leaving public exams, ends on Monday.
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Monday (May 6).
The summary of the SSC results will be handed over to Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni at 10am on the day at the auditorium of Dhaka’s International Mother Language Institute when she will brief over the results.
Usually, chiefs of the education boards hand over the summaries to the prime minister. As Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is on an official visit to the United Kingdom the results will be handed over to the education minister.
Under the general education boards, this year’s theoretical tests started on Feb 2, and ended on Feb 26 while the practical tests began on Feb 27 and continued till Mar 5.
Under the Technical Education Board, the theoretical tests started on Feb 2 and ended on Feb 23 while the practical tests began on Feb 24 and ended Feb 28.
