HSC exams rescheduled for cyclone ‘Fani’

Students appear in the HSC examination at Dhaka’s Motijheel Government Boys` High School centre on Feb 2, 2018. FOCUS BANGLA/File PhotoThe Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations set for Saturday (May 4) have been postponed with cyclone Fani advancing.

The exams have been rescheduled to to May 14, said Dhaka Education Board Chairman Ziaul Haque, who is also the head of the inter-board coordination committee.

The HSC Higher Mathematics first paper and Islamic Studies were scheduled to be held in the morning and Home Economics to be held on Saturday evening.

The Biology first paper exam under the Madrasa Education board was also scheduled for that day.
