The 14-hour long raid on a suspected terror hideout in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur ended which started at the early hours of Monday (Apr 29).

Two suspected militants were killed when the Rapid Action Battalion raided a house at Metro Housing Limited in Mohammadpur’s Basila.

Following blasts and gunfire, members of the elite police unit entered the tin-shed house, rented by the suspects, after a bomb disposal unit arrived.

Three gun-shots went off when the bomb disposal unit broke into the house that was cordoned off in the early hours after evacuating people in nearby houses into safety.
