Implementation rate of cabinet decision falling

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presides over the cabinet meeting at the Secretariat on Monday, Apr 8, 2019. Focus BanglaThe implementation of cabinet decisions has fallen in the first three months of the Awami League government which is in its third tenure.
The implementation rate in the last three months is 66.67 percent which is 1.58 percent less than in 2018.
Five cabinet meetings were held from 1 January till 31 March, 24 decisions were implemented and 12 are waiting to be implemented.
During this time, two work plans were adopted, one MoU was signed and five rules passed in parliament, informed cabinet secretary Mohamamd Shafiul Alam.
From 1 January 2018 till 31 March, 2018, seven cabinet meetings were held, 63 decisions taken and 43 implemented. During that time, three world plans were adopted, four MoUs signed and 15 laws passed in parliament.
