Teknaf Municipality Ward Councilor and alleged drug lord Ekramul Huq was killed on Saturday midnight in a ‘shootout’ with RAB-7.
RAB-7 Company Commander Ruhul Amin confirming the news told the Bangla Tribune:”A gun fight took place around 12:00 am at Noakhalipara area under the municipality between a RAB team and a group of drug dealers. Later, enlisted top drug lord and ward councilor Ekramul Huq’s body was recovered from the spot after the miscreants left the place.”
RAB legal and media wing Director Mufti Muhammad Khan also confirmed the news to Bangla Tribune.
