Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday (Mar 5) predicted rain or thundershowers across the country till Wednesday (Mar 6), reports state news agency BSS.
“It may continue raining at some places across the country till Wednesday… The Southern part of the country may experience excessive rain during the period,” BMD Meteorologist Bazlur Rashid said on Tuesday.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with isolated hails at some places over the country, a BMD bulletin said.
The temperature during the day may rise slightly over the northern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere in the country.
The temperature may rise slightly, the bulletin added.
