Everyone has same rights and to preserve them is our objective, she commented while handing out scholarships to talented students from minority communities on Thursday (Jan 31).

Saying that the country was moving forward, she said, “We will ensure that all communities get equal rights.”

The PM also praised the exquisite attire of the minority communities.

Addressing students, the prime minister, said, “You should not move away from our traditional professions and apply modern day technology in these crafts to make contribution to the economy.”

Thanking the nation for giving her a chance to serve the nation for the third consecutive term, she said, “Your votes brought us to power and gave us the chance to serve the nation.”

We will develop a Bangladesh free of poverty and hunger and a country which stands with the head held high among other nations, she stressed.
