Two Bangladeshis have died in a fire in Lebanon, reported local media.
According to Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star, the fire broke out early on Monday in Metn township of Dora, at the outskirts of capital Beirut.
It said the Bangladesh victims were females and that the cause of the fire was not clear.
Firefighters doused the blaze around 7:15am but failed to save the two women, the report quoted the local civil defence.
The bodies have been taken to the nearby Baabda Hospital.
Pictures shared in online by the civil defence show the women’s charred body.
Monday’s deadly fire was the latest in a series of residential fires in recent months, often attributed to faulty electrical wiring, according to the national daily.
