Voting at a Iqbalnagar polling station in Khulna has been scrapped after incidents of booth capturing was reported.Voting at a polling station for the Khulna City Corporation has been scrapped after incidents of booth capturing was reported.
Returning Officer Yunuch Ali said that they stopped the electoral activities at the Iqbalnagar voting centre.
Around 11am, at least 15 people stormed the centre and stuffed boxes with stamped ballots, Assistant Presiding Officer of the centre Nurul Islam told Bangla Tribune.
He said the men stamped the ballots in favour of two councilor candidates.


Southwestren divisional city Khulna  went to the polls at 8am and will continue until 4pm Tuesday at the 289 polling centres. Around half a million voters are expected to cast their franchise.
