‘Don’t want to waste any time to restore order in roads’

“My first priority is to restore order in the road and transport sector,” he told the media on Thursday (Jan 10).
Responding to queries about his strategies, Quader said, “It’s not an easy task bringing about order; it will take time because it will hamper the personal agendas of many people.”
He added that they will have to overcome the hurdles set by people with personal agendas. The minister said that the PM’s office was also working to make Dhaka a traffic congestion free city.
“The scenario won’t change in a wink but I’m not one who gives up.”
The Awami League has general secretary has been handed the portfolio for the road, transport and bridges ministry for the third time in a row.
