The Election Commission has published a gazette with the outcome of the 11th National Elections on Tuesday (Jan 10), with details of 298 newly elected MPs.
EC Joint-Secretary SM Asaduzzaman has told Bangla Tribune that the gazettes have been sent to state-owned BG Press.
Meanwhile, the Parliament Secretariat is preparing for the new MP-elects to be sworn in.
The constitution allows three days within which the newly elects have to be sworn in by the Speaker. If the Speaker fails to do so, the Election Commission has to carry out the job within the next three days.
The 11th National Elections took place on Sunday (Dec 30) where the Awami League led Grand Alliance bagged a grand win with 288 seats.
The current Speaker, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, who has been elected will take her oath first and then swear in the other elects.
