Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday (Jan 1) extended heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th Parliamentary Polls.

“The Saudi King sent a message congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on securing her party’s absolute majority in the national elections held on Sunday,” Press Secretary to the PM Ihsanul Karim told BSS.

In the message, he said, King Salman wished success of the prime minister as well as steady progress and prosperity for the people of Bangladesh.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also sent a message greeting the prime minister on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th parliamentary elections, the press secretary said.
